I am mad tired but I felt like blogging down what happened these past few days, cos I know I can look back at these memories.

23/02
It was the day of the flight. Past few days, including today, was spent holding back my tears as always. But when my mum hugged me and ask me to take care, I was like starting to tear :( Met up with Jiamin, after 3-4months. Took a flight back with her and made our way to our accomodation, an airbnb house.

So, before I left for Singapore, I actually had a confirmed house. But ON THE DAY of our flight back to Singapore. The guy suddenly pulled out some tricks -.- We agreed on not paying the rent for the time we are away. However, he suddenly told us that we have to pay full rent for the 3-4 months we are away. Which is freaking ridiculous. It is around 2k, and the thing is that we aren't even occupying the room or using their utilities and shit but we have to pay the full rent. Damn ridiculous. So we rejected his ridiculous offer.. and we were left with no house. But luckily, we found storage and could store our stuff there for that few months which was cheaper, only 250 in total.

Rented a car for $30 per day which was acceptable cos a car here is SO convenient gosh. The next few days, we have been running alot of errands and buying alot of stuff. Imagine we have to wait for the buses/trains under the sun and also having to lug bags of stuff. With a car, we can just go wherever we want and dump everything in the boot.

24/02
We went to view a house and we immediately accepted it.

1) It was $1xx/per week and it was like $15/per week below my budget. Even tho it is small sum, but I could have saved alot. 1 month I can save $60. Yup.

2) My school is literally just opposite my house, a 5 minute walk and bam, I'm in school. It is SO RARE to find a house this convenient and so cheap. Walking to school means I need not buy parking for school. The parking fee for 1 whole sem is $250. And thus, Im able to save even more.

3) The room is acceptably big and there's alot of storage space.

4) It's a convenient 2 minutes drive to Winthrop Gardens where I get my groceries. And the Chinese food there is SO DAMN GOOD and CHEAP.

I really loved the house ttm! I'm so glad to have made this choice. Just that after staying for a few weeks, I realise my housemates can be quite anal. Posting notes everywhere the house. "DON'T DO THIS." "DON'T DO THAT!" IN CAPS AND WITH EXCLAMATION MARKS. -.-

25/02
Basically, we spent the next few days driving around and getting our neccessities and also major cleaning of the room cos it was dusty and smelly as hell. But so glad it's better now.

26/02
Went over to IKEA to get new bed and some furniture. IKEA here is so nice and cheap. I feel like buying almost everything. We always say we just want to get this particular item, but end up getting so much junk. Haha. Bought a $12 standing fan as well and it's my life saver ohmy. Summer here is damn hot, no joke. It was 38 degrees. Imagine cleaning + setting up all your stuff in that stuffy and hot room. We were perspiring like shit. Definitely not glamarous.

27/02
Sort of met our housemates. I have 2 Mauritians (a couple), 1 Hongkee, 1 Chinese and Jiamin. They were helpful and lent us some tools cos we were stuck while fixing our bed from Ikea from scratch. It's nice to have a friend whom you can live with and work well. Things aren't so lonely then. I'm really glad for Jiamin and I'm glad x1000 that I can live with her and our habits are the same.

At night, headed over to Aaron's place at Murdoch University Village (my old accomodation) and boy, it was so damn nostalgic! Had a house party. yadayada. Made new friends tho but I forgot their names. Oops.

28/02
Super lazy day. Started finding my car.

Shortlisted this car, 2007 Hyundai Getz, and it was only $5.2k, which was slightly higher than my budget. I was sooo keen in the car but I suck because I always make hasty decisions. LUCKILYYY, i did not buy the car. Cos

1) it's an old car. If i were to sell it next year (2016) means that the car would have been 9 years old. The resale value would not be high.
2) The engine is super noisy. I'm glad i made friends with a local mechanic (who is also my airbnb host) who taught me about cars and shit. He strongly objected it.

Am so glad that I did not make hasty decisions.

01/03
My first day officially moving into my new house. The first night was scary since I have an outdoor backdoor near my room and I could hear it being blown by the wind and hitting against each other. :( but glad I have the fan to block off the noise.

02/03
School has started and I already skipped the first lesson.. Cos i always listen to lectures online. Went to see my new baby, 2010 Hyundai Getz. Went over to check it out with my airbnb host. Went to the new part of Perth which was so beautiful and modern. So it was actually $6k. But my friend helped me to push it down to $5.5k which was a steal since the car is considered NEW. Since it's only 5 years old. I'm gonna take care of it like my baby man!

03/03
Went to collect my new baby but this time, I had to take a bus there. This is why I want a car. Cos the seller's house is at Thornlie, which is a 15-20minute drive from my house. But when I took the bus, it was 1hr time and not forgetting, that bus comes in intervals of 30minutes. Gosh -_- Can u imagine? It suckssss totally.

04/03 and 05/03
Went to visit my other freinds' houses and had homecooked dinner. Simple stuff. Also going over to school to attend tutorials. Had a Singapore dinner and I'm glad that I made new friends.

06/03
Went to settle my car registration and bought some stuff to DIY my room. It's looking so far so good :) Can't wait for it to be done! It was supposed to be a steamboat dinner at Joey's place but we went to drink after. Didn't really drink so much for the past few months. Went to Paradise karaoke bar at Northbridge. Totally drink drank drunk. Glad I stepped out of my comfort zone.

07/03
Which is today. Woke up with a slight hangover and feeling dehydrated as hell. :( but still had to get up and wash my car. Just finished cleaning and washing my car at 2pm and now it's 3.50pm. I'm extremely hungry but have nothing to eat:( Im so tired and i still got alot of things to do but I guess I'll take it one step at a time :)
